Patrick Alexander Stewart

Born and raised in Hollywood, California.

Stewart’s expertise in lighting as well as renown handheld camerawork combined for Mike Figgis’s groundbreaking feature “Timecode.” He was the Director of Photography on this truly historic film whose exact method of technical production and exhibition had never been previously attempted or accomplished.

Following “Timecode” Patrick worked on another film with the academy nominated Director, again digitally shot, called “Hotel.” This feature incorporates many of the previously untested methods and styles of its predecessor, and yet forged new ground in the realm of digital to film feature production. Finally he teamed with Mr. Figgis again on a segment of Martin Scorcese’s documentary on the blues, “Red Hot and Blues.” Patrick more recently completed an award-winning documentary with Director Peter Bogdonovich on Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for Warner Brothers called “Running Down a Dream.”

Most recently Stewart completed two seasons of HBO’s highly regarded series, “Flight of the Conchords,” as well as the new FX comedy series, “The League.”

Patrick’s production company, Patrick Stewart Productions, produces and associate produces hundreds of segments for television programs including, specials, commercials, documentaries and webcasts per year.
